Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 26, 2026. This page explains, in plain language, how OMA collects, uses and shares your information.
Who we are
OMA (Online Meeting Assistant) is operated by Webasoft. We are the party responsible for your personal data when you use OMA. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
- Account details. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not receive your Google password.
- Content you send to AI. Audio from a session, screen captures you trigger (Ask Screen, Ask Portion), text you type and files you upload. We do not store this content. It is passed to the AI provider you choose, and we only count the tokens and audio seconds used.
- Usage data. Information needed to run the service, such as tokens and audio seconds used, plan and purchase records, device and app version, and error logs.
- Payment information. Payments are handled by Paddle. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive order details such as what you bought, the amount, the country and your email.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To provide OMA and generate AI responses you ask for.
- To process purchases, credits and refunds.
- To prevent abuse and fraud, including purchase-and-refund abuse.
- To provide support and send important service messages.
- To fix bugs and improve the product.
How your content is processed
To generate responses, the content you send in a session (such as audio transcripts, screen captures, text and files) is passed to the AI model provider that handles your request. This may be a provider we operate through, or the provider you connect with your own API key. Each provider processes your content under its own terms and privacy policy, so please review the policies of providers you choose.
If you use your own API keys, your requests go directly to your chosen provider using your key, and that provider bills you directly. Your API keys are stored on your device and are not shared with other users.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to share content with OMA, including audio or screen content that contains other people. Please follow the recording and privacy laws and the rules of your workplace, school or meeting that apply to you.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run OMA:
- Google, for sign-in.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for payments, tax, invoicing and refunds. Paddle is the seller of record and handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.
- AI model providers, to generate the responses you request.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers, to store data and run our services.
- Authorities or other parties, if the law requires it or to protect our rights, users or the public.
Retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide OMA, meet legal and accounting duties, resolve disputes and enforce our policies. Purchase and refund records are kept for as long as financial rules require. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except what we must keep by law. AI providers may keep data for their own periods under their own terms.
Your choices and rights
- Choose which model provider handles your content.
- Use your own API keys on the Free plan.
- Access, correct or export your personal data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Withdraw Google access at any time in your Google Account settings.
To use any of these rights, email [email protected] from the email address on your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security and international transfers
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure. Our providers may process data in countries other than your own, and we choose providers that apply appropriate safeguards.
Children
OMA is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above, and for important changes we will notify you by email or in the app.
